PLC AND PQC SERIES GRAB BARS

PLC (1 1/2" dia.) and PQC (1 1/4") grab bars are manufactured with an ABS extrusion over 18 gauge (.049) stainless steel tubular core, stainless steel trim rings, polypropylene elbows and concealed round covers over 16 gauge (.065) stainless steel flanges. Available in a variety of colors.

PLC series shown below is 1 1/2" diameter. The PQC series (not shown) is 1 1/4" diameter.

Specifications: Bars meeting the Handicapped Codes must have 1 1/2" clearance between the wall and the bar and must be 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" diameter. Bars must also withstand 300 pounds static weight for a period of 5 minutes with full recovery. C. D. Sparling Company grab bars exceed these requirements.

Modular Series grab bars are available in the following special configurations. All special configurations are available in the PLC Series only (not available in PQC Series).

ABS Shower Rods with Stainless Steel Core:
ABS extrusion over a stainless steel core with 3" diameter 16 gauge stainless steel flanges and concealed polypropylene round covers. Available in the same colors as the PLC and PQC Series grab bars.
